4 Tales to Save the World is a storytelling & music sound world experience which has been made into a special limited edition, immersive box set created and recorded by Welsh singer-songwriter and storyteller, Gwilym Morus-Baird and directed by Bethan Dear.
This original work draws on specially commissioned tales, written and performed in English, from four of Wales’ leading short story writers – Kate Hamer (shortlisted for The Costa First Novel Prize for The Girl in the Red Coat), Joao Morais (described as “a great slice of comic Cardiff urban realism written by a Welsh Irvine Welsh’ – Independent on Sunday), Mary-Ann Constantine (whose piece is recorded partly in Welsh) and Bethan Dear – with original music, creating four distinctive worlds, imagining a future Wales following climate crisis.

Full of songs and stories from the Fire in the North Sky: Epic Tales from Finland live performance. The CD recording captures the improvisational qualities of the source material and rewards repeated listening. It includes characters, songs and episodes performed on recent tours, such as the Firespell (Tulen synty in Finnish), the story of Väinämöinen searching for the sleeping singer Antero Vipunen, the Bride of Gold and Silver and, memorably, the making of the Sampo. Plus there are new snippets and improvised sections, from a beautiful runolaulu of the beginning of the world, sung by Anna-Kaisa to the evocative story of Aino's transformation into a fish.
Arash Moradi with Habib Meftah
Arash Moradi is the son of the legendary Ali Akbar Moradi, the most renowned tanbour master of our time. For Arash, the Yaresan tanbour tradition is his soul and London is his home. Arash is now presenting his own composition work whilst keeping his tradition, building a bridge between his life and experience in the West. This CD is a musical arrangement that focuses on the tanbour - its modes, techniques and sounds - and is composed of different chapters where the old tanbour maqam patterns remain strong and you can still sense the vapours of Shalaan River!

Ffynnon, pronounced 'FUN-ON' in Welsh means 'well spring', is made up of the voice and instrumental talents of Lynne Denman, Stacey Blythe and David Reid. Lynne Denman's jazzy ethereal vocals provides a traditional sound for modern Wales. She also lends her instrumental talent on the bodhrán. Stacey Blythe plays keyboard, accordion, cello, piano and voice. David Reid plays six-string bass guitar, keyboard and vocals. Reid is active in the London jazz scene.

Named after the Welsh word for element, Elfen is the seamless blending of three great musicians. This is their debut album.
Stacey Blythe, Helina Rees, and Jordan Williams create a distinctive and soulful soundtrack for a new folk music in Wales. The roots of Utua´s songs are deep in the Finnish-Karelian-Ingrian folk
tradition. Singer, Anna-Kaisa Liedes combines traditional verses with contemporary musical idioms, giving them a fresh and personal touch. Inspired by the eternal themes of traditional poetry - love, disappointment, passion and the complicated entwining of love and hatred, she paints her epic interpretations with subtle tones and expressive colors. An ensemble complete the music with folk and jazz backgrounds.
