The posters are up, it's time to let the stories take over!

The Takeover is almost here and we can now announce the full line up for the weekend's head to head launch event, the MYTH OFF plus how you can get involved with our debut storytelling livestream. MYTH OFF For this wild night of competing mythologies in a format invented by Clare Murphy, your MC for the night is Debs Newbold, one of the UK’s most exciting writer-performers. Joining forces with Team Captains Clare Murphy and Tim Ralphs, we've mythic giants Peter Chand and Xanthe Gresham Knight plus two brilliant new Northern storytellers, Daisy Black and Tristan Langlois. STORYTELLING LIVESTREAM We're delighted to be working with award-winning storyteller, Tim Ralphs on our debut livestreamed storytelling event - and you can help shape the story! We're livestreaming Fairy Gifts in Cyberspace from the Carriageworks at 3.30pm on Sat 9 March. If you use Facebook, find the event here, post your suggestions for elements of the story in advance, the more fantastical the better, and join in live as the experience unfolds! And don't forget the weekend is full of so many wonderful things - the chance to have a go at storytelling yourself in a beginners workshop with Peter Chand, join in discussions about storytelling and society plus enjoy a whole programme including some of the most exciting storytellers and stories around today, including our headline event that blasts traditional Indian stories and sounds right into the 21st century, Tongue Tied and Twisted!
