Mary-Ann Constantine

Mary-Ann Constantine has published two collections of short stories: The Breathing (Planet, 2008) and All the Souls (Seren, 2013). A novel, Star-Shot, came out with Seren in 2015.  She moved to west Wales in 1995 and is currently a Reader at the University of Wales Centre for Welsh and Celtic Studies, where she studies the relations between the different cultures and languages of Romantic-era Britain and Brittany. Research projects include work on the ‘invented pasts’ of the poet Iolo Morganwg, Welsh responses to the French Revolution, and, most recently, eighteenth-century tours of Wales, see www.curioustravellers.ac.uk
