Cysur y Sêr - Online Forums 2025-2026
Over the next six months, there will be online discussions around the themes of Adverse Camber's Cysur y Sêr project, exploring links between Greek and Welsh myths of the night sky.
We will be running a series of Online Forums inviting astronomers, heritage partners, storytellers, community members to connect with us and get involved. These sessions will share knowledge and stimulate learning around constellation stories in the Northern Hemisphere, focusing on Welsh knowledge and identifying gaps and areas of potential.
We will be updating our online zoom sessions over the next few weeks. The first session on 6 October will include speakers sharing their practice - storyteller Daniel Morden, Dark Skies Officer Dani Robertson and storytellers Mair Tomos Ifans and Tamar Williams, plus there's a chance to add your own reflections and observations as part of the conversation.
Cysur y Sêr is a national-focused, Welsh-led and bilingual project that is about developing stories in Welsh, environmental respect and leaving an impactful legacy for future generations, leading up to the performances of Stars and their Consolations tour across Wales in March- April 2026.
