Rachel Murray
Rachel loves a good story, whether it be round the fire, in a classroom or at the bus stop.
She tells stories for all ages in all situations and is a resident storyteller at Matlock Storytelling Café, held monthly at the Imperial Rooms in Matlock, and always a hot ticket!
Once it found Rachel, storytelling wouldn’t leave her alone. She has told stories to many different audiences in different venues, sitting around campfires, in libraries, at festivals, at schools, and even, once, at a composting conference. Rachel also works as a Creative Mentor when she isn’t telling stories or tending her allotment. She runs the Springing Into Stories story circle in Matlock, where everyone is welcome to share a story, a riddle, a ballad or bring their company.
