First dates for VÅR: the story of Hervor
Earlier in the summer we spent time in Oslo working with two outstanding artists, storyteller Mimesis Heidi Dahlsveen and composer / musician Gyrid Nordal Kaldestad on a new piece based on a relatively unknown Norse saga.
In September, VÅR: the story of Hervor has its first performances in Oslo and Stockholm. Prior to these shows, the creative team are spending a week in residence at Seanse, a unique centre in Volda, Norway, which enables young people to experience and express themselves through art and creativity. We are undeniably very excited to be working with these artists and exploring how this blend of traditional / contemporary; ancient saga / autobiography; oral storytelling / electroacoustic music, goes down with audiences in Norway and Sweden!
